Album containing 145 albumen prints by Giorgio Sommer (88), Giovanni Crupi (13), Wilhelm von Gloeden (7), Francesco Ciappei (2), Alfred Noack (2) and anonymous photographers (33). From 14.5 x 23 cm to 27 x 29.5 cm, both portrait and landscape formats, as well as two panoramas 19.5 x 71.5 cm and 21.5 x 71 cm. Most with photographer's name, titled and numbered in the negative. Flush-mounted to both sides of album pages. Brown half-linen binding with gilt embossed title on cover. - Binding and album pages with traces of usage, the prints mostly in good condition.
Subjects: Views of cities and landscapes of Naples, the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, Genoa, Rome and Sicily (113) as well as nudes (7) and reproductions of works of art (27).
