Die beiden Fragmente werden dem spanischen Maestro de San Nicolás zugeschrieben, dem auch das Altarbild von Villasante zugeordnet wird. Es handelt sich um die Schule von Burgos und des Nordens von Kastilien, die in Spanien als "Hispanoflamenca" bezeichnet wird.
